Facades of PARAPAN materials
Removing scratches on artificial stone
An excellent quality of artificial stone is that it can be repaired in the event of an accidental damage. When there is an accidental damage to the surface, for example, due to a sharp knife, it can be eliminated. Contact us in such cases.
Artificial stone
Artificial stone is one of the most hygienic materials because of its non-porous structure. Food, dirt and bacteria do not penetrate its surface. There are three types of work surfaces made of artificial stone: high gloss, semi-gloss and matt silky.
1. Soap, water and a sponge remove dirt and stains of all types.
2. A slightly different technique is used to remove stubborn stains depending on the type of the surface. In all cases, water is wiped with a towel.
3. Water spots on the matt-silky surface can be cleaned with a wet cloth. Small stains are simply washed with soapy water or ammonia-containing detergents. To remove stubborn stains, use abrasive scouring powders (e.g. VIM, Ajax, etc.) and a green sponge Scotch-Brite.
To add shining wipe a sponge lightly in circular movements. To disinfect wash the surface periodically with a solution of household bleach (1 part water, 1 part bleach).
4. On a semi-gloss surface use bleach, non-abrasive cleaning paste (such as Soft Scrub, VIM, Ajax, CIF, etc.) or a bleach solution and a white sponge Scotch-Brite to remove stubborn stains in light circular movements. If you want to enhance the gloss and color, use a non-abrasive polishing paste and wipe with a paper towel or cloth.
5. On a highly glossy surface, use the same procedure as on a semi-gloss, but instead of abrasive, use a simple sponge.
6. You can use a white polishing blend for removing stubborn stains with a soft cloth (also in light circular movements). In this case, it may be necessary to polish the entire surface in order to restore the uniform glossy surface.
Glass-ceramic surfaces
1. Avoid any mechanical impact. Remember that the glass-ceramics is fragile material: do not pass over the surfaces or hit them with hard objects.
2. Avoid thermal effects. Use coasters for hot and cold kitchen utensils and other kitchen accessories.
3. Use special glass cleaners for cleaning.
4. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as well as using rough scrubbing sponges coated with the fiber-like or cutting metal material during cleaning.
Ceramic surfaces
1. First of all, it should be remembered that the ceramics (faience ware, porcelain) are fragile materials: do not pass over the surfaces or hit them with hard objects.
2. In addition to general conditions of maintenance, we recommend using aqueous solution of denatured alcohol if degreasing is necessary.
3. Cleaning with glass cleaners is also possible.
